Visiting a Tango Show is a MUST when you are in Buenos Aires. The Tango tradition started at the end of the last century, developing from a mixture of various rhythms, which were originally danced in the poorer quarters. In the beginning Tango was only danced by men, accompanied by flutes, violins and guitars. The flutes were later replaced by the "bandoneón" (a type of accordion), which gave the Tango its distinctive flavor. Reflecting the nostalgia and melancholy of mostly European immigrants, the tango brought up some great musicians, such as Astor Piazzolla and AnibalTroilo.
Transfer from the hotel and drive to one of the famous Tango Houses for dinner including drinks. Then enjoy tango show with its music, singing and dancing.
Dinner includes entrée, main course, dessert& drinks In the early evening, you depart from the hotel to La Ventana. In a nice place and with an excellent service you will be able to taste the most delightful foods, specially the baby beef, with the finest wines. With the same style of the great tango orchestras of the forties, a group of tango musicians invites you to listen to the excellent porteño music. The tango, with its own and deep poetry, is sung by the best tango singers. There is also an Andean music show, which is really very colorful. After the tango show return back to the hotel.
